(TheRedWire.com) – On Tuesday, former president Donald Trump appeared on BlazeTV, where he told host Glenn Beck that if he wins the 2024 presidential election, he will prosecute his political opponents.
As Beck pointed out in 2016, during the presidential race, Trump stated that he would “Lock her up” regarding the Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. However, after becoming the U.S. President, he argued that this was not something they did in America and that it was “not the right thing.” Still, Beck argued that this was what Trump’s opponents were doing now. As a result, the conservative personality asked Trump whether he regretted not locking Clinton up and whether he would follow a different approach if he became the U.S. President again.
Trump, in response, stated that in this case, they had “no choice” because that was what the Democrats were doing right now. He added that previously “never hit Biden as hard” as he could have done out of respect for the president’s office. However, he has now heard that Biden has been trying to indict him.
Trump, leading the 2024 GOP primary presidential race, has been indicted in four cases this year. The first case in New York relates to his business dealings; the case in Florida concerns his alleged mishandling of classified documents; the case in Washington, D.C., his attempts to overturn the presidential election and his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack and the case in Georgia, which is connected to his attempts to overturn the state’s election results.
