(TheRedWire.com) – On Monday afternoon Former President Donald Trump warned Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in his Truth Social social media post that he could face similar false accusations as the one he is facing in New York.

Trump announced his third presidential campaign in November, and ever since the announcement he has repeatedly criticized and attacked DeSantis, who is widely considered to be his biggest contender in the 2024 GOP primary. DeSantis has not yet indicated what his plans for 2024 are, however many are anticipating he will join the presidential race since he has spent the last few months in the national spotlight.

DeSantis recently was placed under scrutiny from MAGA Inc., a political action committee (PAC) supporting Trump, after requesting the Florida Commission on Ethics to launch a probe into whether DeSantis’ shadow presidential campaign was violating any of the state election laws.

Trump has also recently criticized DeSantis for allegedly partying with underage girls during his time working as a high school teacher in Georgia. The rumor was accompanied by a photo of a man surrounded by three women.

Trump is currently waiting to see what the outcome of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s probe is going to be. Bragg has been looking into Trump’s role in the $130,000 hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence over their alleged affair ahead of the 2016 presidential campaign.
