(TheRedWire.com) – As America suffers under the weight of crushing gasoline prices and skyrocketing inflation, Americans may be re-evaluating their vote for president in 2020. In the fall of 2021, numerous polls showed Independents who voted for President Joe Biden experienced buyers’ remorse. Since August, Biden’s approval ratings have dropped from the low 50s to an average of the low 40s. Every week, it appears more likely former President Donald Trump may be looking at the polls and sensing America might give him a second chance in 2024.
On March 8, a Redfield & Wilton Strategies poll found a whopping 37% of Americans disapprove of President Biden’s job performance. There’s also renewed interest for Trump ahead of the midterm elections. The poll said that 42% of voters would vote for Trump in 2024. That’s up 4% from the last survey in February. Regarding Biden, 40% said they would vote for the president, which was down 2%. Around 12% said they didn’t know how they would vote in 2024 at this moment.
A new poll found that President Biden's approval rating stood at just 37 percent after more than one year in office. https://t.co/G539BBhenQ

Trump has been teasing he may run for president again in 2024 for months. On Thursday, March 10, the former president said people would be very happy when Fox News host Sean Hannity asked if he would run for president. If the former president runs, he has a fast-track approval within the GOP for the nomination. Assuming Trump gets the nod from Republicans, he could face Joe Biden again. The president recently confirmed his intention to run for a second term.
