(TheRedWire.com) – In a recent release, former president Donald Trump’s campaign stated that if Trump wins back the White House in 2024, then people should be prepared for a “spectacular” yearlong celebration from Memorial Day 2025 to July 4, 2026, which will be focused on celebrating the country’s 250th year of Independence.

In order to coordinate the celebration Trump will establish a White House task force, named “Salute to America 250” which will be tasked with heading the state and local efforts for the semi-quincentennial celebrations across the United States. In the statement, Trump notes how monumental this milestone is for the country, and adds that as President he would ensure that this is the best celebration of all time.

The Wednesday release also notes that the administration is going to be collaborating with each individual state governor for the creation of the “Great American State Fair” which will run for a year and feature pavilions from all 50 states.  The fair would be hosted on the state fairgrounds in Iowa.

Trump further pointed out that he would also be hosting sports competitions for high school students to exhibit the incredible skill and sportsmanship that American youth has to offer. He proceeded to invite tourists from across the world to visit the U.S. to celebrate this momentous occasion, adding that the American tourist industry will need to be prepared for the influx of people.

Finally, he stated that he will reissue an executive order as soon as he returns to office for the establishment of a “National Garden of American Heroes” which would commission artists for the creation of 100 statues to honor the “greatest Americans of all time.”
