(TheRedWire.com) – During a recent interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, former President Donald Trump claimed that if he wins the 2024 presidential election, he would be able to put an end to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia before he entered office in January 2025. Trump, who announced his third presidential campaign in November, claimed during the interview which aired on Tuesday that he could put an end to the war.

This interview was given only days after his first official 2024 campaign rally in Waco, Texas following his assumptions that he was going to be arrested in connection to the Manhattan District Attorney’s probe into a $130,000 hush money payment made by former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen to adult film actor Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 presidential election in exchange for her silence.

This is not the first time that Trump has claimed that he would be able to “fix” the Russia-Ukraine war within 24 hours. However, he has always claimed that he would only be able to fix it “from the presidential seat” and has even previously pushed for President Joe Biden to appoint him as an “emissary.”

In this latest clip, he claimed that if he won the presidential election he would “100 percent sure” have the “war settled.”

The video clip from that segment in the interview was shared on Twitter by journalist Aaron Rupar and has since received more than 60,000 views.
