(TheRedWire.com) – It’s hardly a secret that the current Iranian regime is no friend to the United States. Arguably, the Middle-Eastern aggressor has caused our greatest foreign policy difficulties over the last decade, punctuated by President Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran’s nuclear program and imposition of sanctions.
This week, an explosive (literally) video provided insight into just how negative Iran feels toward America. On Sunday, May 2, Iranian state-controlled television aired a video depicting the destruction of the US Capitol building. The doctored footage, which you can see below, also features the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, an elite military unit in Iran.
Today pre-Khamenei talk,Iran state TV aired this clip depicting an IRGC attack on #Congress
Yes, it’s propaganda. But it shows the anti-US ideology of #IRGC,which is rising in power
Should the #US give #Iran billions in sanctions relief before addressing the challenge of IRGC? pic.twitter.com/Yp4z4igwWL

Unsurprisingly, the video has sparked outrage on American soil. Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) took to Twitter to question whether the Biden administration should be “capitulating by removing sanctions in light of the outrageous post.” President Joe Biden, and other Democrats, have expressed an interest in rejoining the nuclear deal.
If Biden does take this step, it will be another example of his flagrant disregard for the interests of the American people.
