Whoopi Goldberg SUPPORTS Trump In Shocking Public Act

The billionaire entrepreneur said it was vital to a Democratic society that public squares like Twitter serve as free speech platforms. If he successfully completes the purchase, Musk said he would reverse former President Donald Trump’s ban on the platform. Founder and former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said Trump’s ban was a business decision and agreed with Musk that Twitter shouldn’t ban anyone from the platform. Now, a most unlikely person agrees with Musk and Dorsey.
On Wednesday, May 11, The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg became an unlikely Trump ally. She said Twitter should allow the former president back on and noted that if people want to listen to what he has to say, that’s fine. She added that Americans argued for years that people have the right to say whatever they want and that it’s time to let any complaints regarding Trump’s past use of the site go, once and for all.

In the wake of the January 6, 2021, riot on Capitol Hill, Twitter permanently banned Trump from its platform. Whether Twitter reinstates the 45th president’s account, Trump said he wouldn’t return to the platform. Instead, he said he’ll stay on Truth Social, a new social media platform he created.
