World Leaders CAUGHT Mocking Biden – Video Shows Everything
(TheRedWire.com) – During the 2020 presidential election, then-Democratic candidate Joe Biden said he would restore America’s credibility with global leaders. In fact, early on in his presidency, Biden declared that America was back after Donald Trump’s term came to an end. That said, there have been troubling signs that many countries might not be able to rely on the US under his leadership in the near future. Those concerns increased in the wake of the botched withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan. Some said Biden’s approaches undermined European trust even more. But, what about Asia?
On Friday, May 13, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and other high-ranking officials met Secretary of State Antony Blinken as part of a 10-member Association for Southeast Asian Nations summit. Ahead of the meeting, video footage caught the Vietnamese delegation laughing at Biden’s statement, in which he said that he couldn’t trust Russia.

So, the question is, were the Vietnamese simply being disrespectful, or is Biden not doing enough to command respect? Analyst Nguyen Phuong Linh insinuated to Radio Free Asia (RFA) that the Vietnamese leadership was dysfunctional and incompetent. She suggested it had little to do with Biden and the US, and more to do with their own immaturity. RFA reported that social media commenters were highly critical of the Vietnamese delegation.
Regardless, one has to wonder if Donald Trump would have been treated this way. Was this more about Biden being a pushover, or were the Vietnamese simply being disrespectful?
