(TheRedWire.com) – Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has said that other GOP members should not be scared of engaging with liberal media outlets. Ramaswamy, who has been campaigning for the past two weeks, told Fox News Digital during an interview that voters have been “receptive” to his message. He further added that earlier this month during the CPAC he had managed to get “five” standing ovations in front of the pro-Trump crowd.

As he states “people are hungry and even curious” about seeing something different that will help advance America. He added that some of his claims like “getting rid of affirmative action in America, abandoning climate religion in America, using the military to actually decimate the cartels south of the border and solve the fentanyl crisis” are things that most Republicans agree and support. He even went as far as to say that most Americans also support these ideas even though Republican politicians are afraid to propose these ideas.

The multi-millionaire entrepreneur also criticized the media for their lack of coverage of his campaign, specifically calling out The New York Times and The Washington Post for not speaking about his presidential bid.

He then continued by making a jab at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is widely speculated for his own presidential bid for 2024, for not engaging with liberal media. DeSantis’ team has refused interviews with these media outlets repeatedly.
