(TheRedWire.com) – Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy recently stated that he disagreed with all those who believed that former President Donald Trump had no chance at winning back the White House in 2024. However, as he pointed out in his campaign, it will require more than “vengeance and grievance” for the America First campaign to progress and unite the country.

Ramaswamy, 37, is an “anti-woke” CEO and political newcomer who has sought to set himself apart from the 2024 Republican candidates by refusing to attack Trump who is currently the frontrunner in the race. In a Politico interview released on Monday, he opposed all those who claimed that Trump was too unpopular to defeat President Biden.

Still, he proceeded to argue that he would win a general election by a more significant margin than the one Trump would be able to win with.

Tricia McLaughlin, Ramaswamy’s campaign press secretary, explained in a statement to Fox News Digital, that Ramaswamy believes he can help progress the America First campaign even further, while also unifying the country under the “first principles and moral authority.” She proceeded to point out that the way in which he would achieve this is by placing his focus on the founding principles of this nation which include “free speech, merit, democracy over aristocracy.”

Trump has faced many critics both outside and within the Republican Party. Still, he manages to maintain a clear position as the leader in the presidential primary race and is widely expected to win the Republican nomination in 2024.
