(TheRedWire.com) – On Thursday, President Biden alleged that he had taught “political theory” at the University of Pennsylvania. However, many users on Social Media were quick to blast him over this claim.
Many of his critics alleged that Joe Biden had a “pretend life” and that there was no evidence to suggest that he had ever taught at the school, even though he had been considered an honorary professor for years. Still, during a Maryland speech, Biden claimed he had taught at the institution.
In his remarks mainly focused on the economy, Biden also spoke about the threats that American democracy is currently facing and claimed that while teaching at the University of Pennsylvania, he had developed his expertise in this field.
He further argued that the country’s democracy was under attack and that during his time teaching for four years at the University of Pennsylvania, he had also heard how every generation needed to fight to protect democracy. He added that at first, he had not believed that to be the case, but now he did, and they needed to fight for it.
Many users on X, formerly known as Twitter, criticized the President, claiming he had lied about teaching at the University.
Greg Price, a conservative digital strategist, commented after sharing a clip of Biden’s remarks that Biden had never taught at UPenn. Author Carol Roth also jokingly said that the President’s “pretend life sounds fun and interesting.”
