Biden Administration Declares War On Christianity

(TheRedWire.com) – The Biden administration and the far left have been waging a war against those who are pro-life which is exceedingly obvious in the healthcare sector. Most recently, Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) threatened to stop providing federal funding to St. Francis Health System, a large Catholic hospital system in Oklahoma, after they refused to put out a sanctuary candle that was burning in its hospital chapel.

Those who are familiar with the teachings of the Catholic church were outraged by this stunt as sanctuary candles are required in all churches and chapels. According to the Catholic church, there always needs to be a lit sanctuary candle by the altar which represents Jesus Christ’s presence in the Eucharist.

The federal government however has attacked this practice and has stated that St. Francis needed to blow out the sanctuary candle, which they deemed a “safety threat” despite the fact that both the local fire marshal and government approved of it. St. Francis Health System, which the Biden administration has currently approved the closing of, provides more than 11,000 jobs and has in its care more than 400,000 patients.

Following the public outrage about this case, the Biden administration is backtracking on their threats. Still, the HHS under the Biden administration seems to be committed to stopping the existence of faith-based providers and health care. The HHS’s discrimination against people of faith also extends to new regulations that would get rid of religious and conscience exemptions. This would stop doctors, nurses, and medical practitioners from objecting to certain treatments because of their conscience-objecting stance.
