(TheRedWire.com) – Following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade last year, the FBI created a threat tag, which was later used to focus on pro-life individuals according to toa whistleblower’s remarks to the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

FBI Special Agent Garret O’Boyle, from the Wichita Resident Agency in the Kansas City Field Office, added that the FBI had made him divide the domestic terrorism cases into four different categories. As he noted this was part of the bureau’s attempt to show Congress the increase in domestic terrorism cases.

O’Boyle specifically said that the FBI’s threat tag was “THREATSTOSCOTUS2022” following the final decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which led to the overturning of the 1973 landmark Roe v. Wade case. With the overturning of this decision, abortion issues are now going to be handled by each individual state.

O’Boyle said that at the time the usage of the threat tag appeared “legitimate” as it is a federal crime to threaten the Supreme Court. This is a common practice from the FBI when they want to monitor cases on a large scale.

However, according to O’Boyle’s allegations, the focus of the threat tag changed and it began being targeted at pro-life individuals. In the transcript of his remarks to the panel, he added that this was odd as it was the “pro-choice people” protesting following the decision.
