(TheRedWire.com) – Former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang in a recent interview with Fox News Digital this week in South Carolina spoke about why he was campaigning against President Joe Biden in the Democratic primary. In his statements, he argued that if the election were to be held today then former President Donald Trump would win against Biden.

In his comments, he noted that there were many voters who did not view Biden positively, including independent voters in key swing states such as Michigan, Georgia, Arizona, and Wisconsin. He added that these states are essentially the places where the U.S. election is going to be decided. However, he pointed out that the majority of Democratic insiders continued to strictly have their attention on Joe Biden despite the numbers.

He added that in the past few days, he had spoken with people in South Carolina and that he had some people who had directly asked him whether they thought that Joe Biden was going to lose to Donald Trump. He then proceeded to say that not only did he believe that Biden was going to lose to Trump, but that the polls were just continuing to get worse and worse for the President.

Yang, who is campaigning for Democratic Rep. Dean Phillips in his primary bid against Biden, argued that during his campaigning efforts, he has noticed that one of the main questions that voters have is whether Biden is going to be in a good position to win the presidential election in November.
