(TheRedWire.com) – On Wednesday, an interview with former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) was published in which he claimed that if former president Donald Trump wins a second term in the Oval Office it would be a “scary” time for the United States as he would go on a “vendetta tour.”

Christie, who had been a Trump supporter during his 2016 presidential run, but had ended up running against him in 2024 had argued that his greatest fear was that Trump was going to be pursuing all those who are his enemies while in the White House, and no one would have the ability to stop him.

In The Washington Post interview, Christie argued that there would not be anyone putting a stop to Trump who would be going on a vendetta tour against all those he considered to be his enemies. As he pointed out this was “scary” for this country.

While Christie has expressed fear over what will happen if Trump wins he has already stated that he would not be supporting President Biden in the November election.

Christie had stated that he did not think he would be voting for Biden, who as he described was “past the sell-by date.” However, he noted that if one seriously considered him, or the two American people were silly enough to be nominating the two guys it would not mean that he would also need to be stupid along with them.

He continued by arguing that Biden had not reached out to him to request his support, which as he argued was fairly stupid of the President. Christie, who withdrew from the primary race months ago is one of the most openly anti-Trump candidates of the primary campaign. Christie has even argued that he was even considering running with No Labels, a third party, however, he ended up dismissing that possibility as he claimed he could not see a way to move forward.
