(TheRedWire.com) – On Sunday, former President Trump accused President Biden of stuffing the Manhattan District Attorney’s office into investigating the hush-money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels with Department of Justice officials despite the office being city-run.
Trump made his newest accusations on his Truth Social platform where he claimed that Biden had “’ stuffed’ the D.A.’s Office with Department of Injustice people,” including one “DOJ operative” that had been sent from Washington, D.C. Trump did not provide information on who he believed was an operative specifically.
Trump continued by saying that Biden is pretending as if he is not at all involved in the probe when in reality he has stuffed the department. He then proceeded to call out District Attorney Alvin Bragg whom he alleges “is taking his orders from D.C.”
Bragg, a Democrat, is a New York City elected official who took over the office last year. The office is currently stuffed by city officials and is not stuffed by the President who is responsible for overseeing federal officials.
In his posts, Trump once again claimed that he had won the 2020 presidential election, even though there is no evidence to suggest that was the case.
A Manhattan grand jury indictment is anticipated in the case relating to the hush-money payment made to Daniels during Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. The case was reopened by Braggs after being previously closed.
Trump also claimed that he would be arrested in relation to this case on Tuesday, however, there is no evidence regarding the timeline of this case currently.
