(TheRedWire.com) – On Saturday, former President Donald Trump during a South Carolina rally blasted the Senate foreign aid bill. As he argued they wanted to give $100 billion to several other countries, but that there was no reason for that and that the only way to do that was by giving them a loan.

On Friday, the Senate voted to put forward a $95.3 billion package that would include funding for Israel and Ukraine. The package came after the recent bipartisan deal which combined border security reforms and foreign aid failed to pass. Previously Trump had strongly opposed the bill arguing that the bill was a “death wish” for the Republican party.

Following the release of the bipartisan bill Trump had argued that only someone who was a “fool” or belonged to the Radical Left would vote in support of this border bill, which would only give authorization for the border to be closed after there had been over 5000 Encounters in a single day. He added that the United States already had the right to close the border.

Trump had proceeded to call the bill a gift to the Democrats and claimed that the bill would absolve the Democrats for the terrible job that they had done on immigration and instead place the responsibility on Republicans.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) had also slammed the bill claiming that it was far worse than he was expecting and that it would not help in closing the border and mitigating the catastrophe that has been created by the U.S. President. He added that under this legislation the border would never close.
