(TheRedWire.com) – Hillary Clinton’s daughter Chelsea Clinton has defended Barron Trump and his right to privacy in a recent appearance on ABC’s “The View.”

During her appearance, the former first daughter argued that it was very important for the youngest son of former President Donald Trump to be protected from public scrutiny as he is a private citizen. These remarks came as she responded to “The View” co-host Ana Navarro about the way that the media was treating Barron Trump following his 18th birthday.

Clinton in her response pointed out that he had a “right to privacy” and opposed all those who believe that Barron Trump had now become “fair game” especially as she pointed out that he deliberately refrained from getting involved in politics or being in the public limelight.

Clinton argued that one of the things she strongly believed was that anyone who was a private citizen had the right to be left alone by the media.

This question by Navarro had come after former NBC executive Mike Singon had suggested that with Barron Trump turning into an adult all social media platforms would target him. As he stated in a post on X with this transition Barron Trump became “fair fame.” As he later explained what he meant by the post is that as an adult he was that as an adult he could receive a lot of criticisms and comments.

However, Clinton during an interview also argued that this is not the same privacy protection that Trump’s other three kids Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump should be afforded as they had in the past been a part of President Biden’s campaign.
