(TheRedWire.com) – Letitia James, the Attorney General of New York, argued that this week, the experts on former President Donald Trump’s defense team assisted in her legal case against Trump. James brought a fraud civil case against Trump, arguing that over the years, he had inflated the value of his assets to receive access to better business deals.

On Friday, she argued during a video that Trump was attempting to distract from the truth by calling her names. However, she argued that the standard in the trial was the truth, which was on the prosecution’s side.

James pointed out that the three expert witnesses had been particularly helpful to her case as they had assisted her in proving her argument that Trump, his adult sons, and the Trump organization had committed fraud. She also claims that the falsified financial statements had been knowingly filed in an attempt by Trump to inflate his assets to gain access to better business deals while also deflating to benefit from lower taxation.

She added that in the last few days, they have continuously heard the testimony of the experts of the defendants, as she pointed out one of those experts even admitted that the financial condition stated regarding some of the properties in Trump’s name was not “reasonable” or “proper.”

James also pointed out that another witness had specifically asked Trump to help in his Mar-a-Lago club case, which is a conflict of interest. At the same time, the third has received payment from a political action committee that is connected to the former President.
