(TheRedWire.com) – Former President Donald Trump recently slammed Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, who is expected to soon endorse Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the 2024 Republican primary. Trump warned Reynolds that such a move was likely to bring her career closer to its end and that if she moved forward with this move, then she would never have the support of MAGA (Make America Great Again).

On Monday evening, Reynolds is expected to announce her support for DeSantis over Trump during a Des Moines rally.

In his post, Trump stated that if Reynolds does end up endorsing DeSantis, who was “dying in the polls” both in her state and across the country, that would signify the end of her career in politics. He added that she would never have the support of MAGA again, as MAGA would never again back DeSantis. Trump then claimed that two incredibly “disloyal” people were coming together, which was a “beautiful thing to watch” as they could continue to be loyal to one another since no one else would want them.

Over this past weekend, Trump posted that Reynolds had allegedly told him that she would be “neutral” in the race.” She had also allegedly thanked the former President while telling him that she wanted to “campaign with everyone.”

Trump then argued that he should have told Reynolds that he would remain neutral when she asked for assistance to win her election. Trump also pointed out that he has a 41-point lead in Iowa.
