(TheRedWire.com) – This week, the two adult sons of former President Donald Trump are expected to provide their testimony in the New York civil fraud case. The two are going to testify about the role they played in the Trump organization.

Donald Trump Jr., Trump, and Eric Trump are included in the lawsuit brought forward by Letitia James, the attorney general of New York. James has alleged that for decades, the family would defraud banks and insurers by inflating the value of their assets to get access to more premium deals. They allegedly would then deflate the value of their assets to benefit from lower taxes.

Both brothers had served as the Trump Organization’s executive vice presidents and are expected to provide testimonies back to back. On Wednesday, Donald Trump Jr. will take the stand, while Eric Trump will appear in court a day later. Their testimony will be integral to understanding the company’s structure and the extent to which they were complicit in the alleged fraud.

Michael Cohen, who previously worked as Trump’s personal attorney and fixer, stated in his testimony that Trump Jr. was at the “top of the hierarchy” in the current form of the organization. His signature is also present on many of the financial statements that have been used as evidence throughout the trial. James has tried to push the perspective that all the Trump children knew the business practices.
