(TheRedWire.com) – A new report has found that the relationship between Attorney General Merrick Garland and President Joe Biden has deteriorated as the President is reportedly feeling guilty about the legal problems involving his son, Hunter Biden. Some people close to the President have even suggested that if Joe Biden had not joined the presidential race in 2020 then his son would not be facing an indictment right now.

The report on Axios noted that Biden had previously told close associates that he believed that if he had not run in the 2020 presidential election his son would not be facing criminal prosecution, nor would he have become a target for conservatives during a time when he is trying to rebuild his life. The outlet stated that some of Biden’s aides were comfortable enough to have discussions about the situation revolving around Hunter Biden with the President while others were more careful as they were afraid that it would anger the President.

On Thursday, Hunter Biden was indicted in California on nine federal counts connected to his alleged failure to pay the necessary taxes over a period of three years.

On Dec. during an appearance on a podcast with musician Moby, Hunter Biden argued that the GOP was attempting to “kill” him. He added that this entire situation was not about him and that it was all part of the attempts to destroy Joe Biden. He added that these were “sick people” who were using him to hurt his father as much as possible.
