(TheRedWire.com) – The FOX News contributor Tulsi Gabbard recently blasted President Biden following his speech commemorating 9/11 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. Biden was the first President in 22 years to not commemorate the terrorist attacks by visiting one of the terrorist attack sites or in the White House.
During an appearance on “Fox & Friends,” Gabbard told Pete Hegseth that the President’s decision not to visit one of the attack sites was essentially him “turning his back” on the families of the victims who were there to commemorate their loved ones who had lost their lives during the attack. He added that Biden had also turned his back on all American people who had joined the military following the attack.
He added that while Biden gives lectures about being united and defending democracy, he has done nothing to unite the country since taking office, and all he has done is divide the country even further. He added that the Biden administration undermined democracy and the freedoms enshrined in the country’s Constitution.
After returning from an overseas trip to India and Vietnam, Biden had chosen to deliver his commemorative speech in Alaska.
Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had announced the plans of the President before the day and stated that he would still be honoring the lives of all those who lost their lives during the attack, as well as honor their loved ones who have had to deal with the loss for 22 years. She added that this was something that Biden had considered very important.
