(TheRedWire.com) – On Monday Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, commemorating the 9/11 terrorist attacks. She used her post as an opportunity to blast the Biden administration which caused her to face a big blowback on social media.

In her post, Green wrote that they were remembering the lives of those lost during the attack by Islamic terrorist attack that took place 22 years earlier. She then proceeded to remind people of the suicide bombing in Kabul which resulted in the death of 13 U.S. service members during the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.

As she stated, people should not forget the “betrayal” by the Biden administration which led to American lives being lost, territory in the Middle East being ceded and weapons being left behind to the Taliban. She added that the Taliban was working with Al-Qaeda, who was the enemy that the U.S. has been trying to defeat for decades.

However, many X users were quick to attack Greene over her choice to use the 9/11 anniversary to blast the policy decisions of the president.

Ed Krassenstein, a liberal social media personality responded to Greene’s post by questioning why she needed to turn this situation political instead of honoring the lives of those who died. Many conservatives also joined this discussion in support of Krassenstein writing that Greene’s statement was inappropriate on that day.

Greene had previously been blasted for supporting certain conspiracy theories about the 9/11 attacks. In a 2018 video, she stated that it was “odd” that there was no evidence for the plane that had fallen in the Pentagon.
