(TheRedWire.com) – On Tuesday, President Biden’s 2024 campaign referred to former President Trump as “dangerous” after the release of John Bolton’s memoir’s new edition. Bolton had served as the national security adviser under the former President.

Biden campaign spokesperson Ammar Moussa has highlighted the release pointing out that under Trump Americans were less safe. He added that Bolton, who had served as Trump’s National Security Advisor has noted in his memoir that people should be warned about the possibility of a second Trump presidency and how it would make Americans both within the country and abroad less safe. He pointed out that Trump for four years had spent his time alienating U.S. allies while getting closer with many of the world’s dictators.

He proceeded to note that Trump had previously praised Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, had threatened to pull the United States out of the NATO alliance, and had more recently referred to a terrorist group as smart.

Moussa warned that the country’s adversaries have been rooting for Trump to be the candidate as he was dangerous to the United States.

Trump has previously pledged that he would put an end to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia if he is elected as the U.S. president. He has also previously called Hezbollah “very smart.”

In August, Bolton warned about Trump’s threats regarding the NATO alliance. In his memoir, he also goes into more detail about his experience serving in the Trump administration until 2019. In the new foreword, he particularly points out his concerns regarding the NATO alliance and the conflict in Ukraine.
